Who We Are
We’re two Puerto Ricans: born, raised, and deeply rooted in this island. Long before Roadtropia existed, we were already doing what we love most:
- Exploring Puerto Rico
- Discovering spots that don't make it onto any list
- Sharing those spots with anyone willing to come alone
How It Started
Our path into private transportation began on the streets, offering rides through rideshare platforms, day after day, picking up visitors from all over the world. And something kept happening: tourists would ask us to stay. Not just to drop them off, but to take them somewhere: to come along, to be the local they didn’t have. Not because of price, but because of trust. Because having someone who actually knows the island by their side felt different.
Why We Built This
Roadtropia was born from that moment: the realization that what people really want isn’t a tour. It’s access. Access to the most beautiful, least-known corners of Puerto Rico, with the safety of knowing a local is right there with them.
We built this to offer something that group tourism rarely does: transparency, flexibility, and genuine company. No strict itineraries, no strangers on your bus, no performance. Just two people who love this island, sharing it the way locals do — openly, honestly, and without the rush.
